It has recently come to our attention that some Roku devices have a very big design flaw. They only support one type of wireless network. The network type the do support, 2.4 GHz networks, are the most common. However, this can cause problems when it comes to moving into a new home such as a dorm. Some colleges only broadcast on the 5 GHz band. Enclosed bellow are a list of the Roku devices that are confirmed to be affected by this problem as of the 9.3 firmware update. This list will be updated as we acquire new data.
